It’s been about 5 months since I started Stumble Upon Life. And what an amazing journey it’s been!
Stumble Upon Life achieved 10,000 Pageviews and close to 5,000 unique visitors yesterday. It’s a small win when compared to many blogs out there but it’s an important milestone for me as it only increases my drive to write more and make a difference to the world around me.
What started off as a quest to hone my writing skills and share my musings with the world has acquired an identity of it’s own! I have made new friends, met amazing bloggers and received so much love and support from all the readers!
I would like to thank each and every one of you who have been with me on this journey! It’ll only get better as I plan to interview many experts in the areas of Personal Development, Psychology, Human Resources and Life-skills. Their expertise is bound to help you in achieving a higher quality of life and help you out when you feel stuck and need a helping hand!
A special thanks to all the bloggers who regularly comment on my posts and share them with their readers. Harleena Singh, Rohan Chaubey, Ikechi Awazie and all the Aha-Now community members, I couldn’t have done this without you. Thank you once again!
A few of my posts have been wildly successful and have gone pretty viral in the social media space. The five most-read posts are:
Profound Life Advice from Comic Strips – My take on what the funny comics we read everyday teach us about life.
Monkey-See Monkey -Do – My first post which talked about the need to stop being afraid of failure and taking massive action.
Confessions of a Restless Soul – A post which talks about how I started writing and the adventure that led to it.
Rules of Self-Esteem – An infographic-post which shares some of the best wisdom from some of the greatest movers and shakers of our world
3 Destructive Habits which Make You Mediocre – A must-read for all the people who wish to overcome the common enemies of productivity
Another recent post which has got rave reviews and got listed on Flipboard and Prismatic is about Minimalism which talks about doing more with less. Make sure you read these if you haven’t done so already!
As for me, it’s been one year since I finished my MBA and started off in the Corporate world. I have had a great run so far with some excellent learnings about people, business and life in general. Another significant event in the last month has been my marriage!
My girlfriend/editor-in-chief/secret-ninja-spy-woman Pooja is now my official partner-in-crime. That means what I write will be carefully scrutinized till it reaches a certain level of perfection. Which might not be so bad considering my random mood swings and hyperactivity on the blog! I thank her for being with me through thick and thin (mostly thick she says commenting on my recent weight gain)
A final bow to my co-conspirators Ashutosh and Adarsh who keep dropping in when I’m in trouble and laugh their butts off! Your mockery has been a silent ode to my determination!
Will be back shortly with more meaningful content. Stay tuned and keep smiling!
